When speaking with Jonathan about what we wanted to capture it was about the gaze, how it doesn’t have to be at someone in particular and it doesn’t need a frame of reference besides it being a person looking and observing at the thing that is immediately in front of them. When he sent me back these photos for issue 9 I was in awe, they captured the essence of a look, allowing me to just get lost in their eyes.
